About "Heavy Sun"

This painting is one of my favorites. I enjoy the flow of movement from left to right, and the way the centrally placed sun seems to press down upon the sky and land. It almost seems as if the sun could fall as it nestles into the canopy of the sky. I hope to paint more like this one, but it takes a bit of patience.
