About this drawing
According to my art teacher, a rendering is done by drawing as slowly as possible with a pencil. This is a rendering I did on the theme of motherhood while in art class at Cypress College. I'm shown on the left at about age 18, and again in the background with my first son. On the right is Jackie Kennedy and one of her children, from a photo I found in a magazine. At right is a crop of the image.
